Johhny Ip Glorious 50 Concert in Singapore

After the ban of cantopop songs are all mass media in Singapore, Cantopop songs fans have dwindled to only a handful. Uncle Jammer is one of the few die  hard.  With so few cantopop fans , it is no wonder that Cantopop concerts are getting far and few.

I am glad to hard that Johnny Ip would be having a concert on 26 Aug 18 at Resort World Sentosa Theatre.

I bought the ticket and look forward to watch the show.

Sam Hui 's and Alan Tam would be having the season 2 of their combined concert between 5 to 12 August.  This is after their concert last year was sold out despite having extra sessions added in.

This is anther of their posters. The theme this year is about TRAVELLING THE WORLD.

The theme last year was about them in gentlemen suit in motor bike and side car

As per previous time, I hope to be able to watch the concert in August. I hope to post some photos f possible.

Alan Tam 40th Anniversary Concert - Singapore

Hi friends, I was so overwhelmed by all the Sam Hui's news and videos of his recent concert in Hong KOng that I almost forgotten that Alan would be having his 40th Anniversary concert in Singapore next weekend,19th November.

I managed to get the tickets through a friend.

As per previous times, I would post photos of the concert after watching.

Sam Hui concert in Genting Again......
Yes, by now you should have heard that god of songs had 3 concerts in Hong Kong last month.

He also had 2 more concerts in San Francisco and Vancouver in early November

Its now time for him to have a concert in Genting. It would be held on 3 December.

Sam Hui -What A Wonderful World Concert 2015 in Genting Malaysia

By now, you should have received information that the Sam Hui "What A Wonderful World" Concert 2015 would be held in Genting Malaysia on 21 March 2015.

Here is the poster . Although the concert is just about a month away, I am still not sure if I can make it for the concert. If I have a chance to catch this, I would definitely share photos on the blog. Stay tune.....

Alan & Hacken 10th Anniversary Singapore Tour - 6 Sep 14

As mentioned on 28 June, I would be writing about this concert .

I have chosen not watch the Paula Tsui's concert because the ticket were too expensive in my opinion.

So this is another major Cantopop concert that I cannot give a miss.

The seats were cramped. But I guess this was unacceptable as the tickets were by no means cheap.

Nevertheless, I was not going to let the cramp seat affect my mood for the show.

The show began at about 8.30pm. The first segment began with Alan and Hacken singing songs together.

The next segment consists of Alan' songs. The songs he sang in this segment are not his classic hits but his newer songs.

The third segment consists of Hacken's Songs. I am not familar with Hacken's songs. I still enjoyed his good voice and his effort in costume changes.

After that comes the aerobics section where Alan and Hacken were dancing and singing the faster songs.

The last segment was the most interesting. This is the segment where they sang their evergreen hit songs.

After they have completed the last segment. they went to the backstage. However, as they haven't sung the mega hits like 一生不变， Don't say goodbye, 爱情陷阱。。。。They hinted that they would be back for encore depending on the audience response. The audience responded with loud applause.

They came back on stage to sang these songs that were not sung eaelier. The audience were really high and refused to leave. They kept on singing songs after songs including a lot of disco dance hits from the 80s. The concert came a close at 11.40pm only after both of them and the musicians were exhausted .  

Sam Hui Concert in GuangZhou 2014

Sam had just finished his tour to Sydney on 8th August and Melbourne on 10th August over the National Day Holiday weekend. Unfortunately, I was not able to watch both of these concerts . His next destination for concert would be in GuangZhou on 15th Novemver 14.
